REGIONAL ENERGY CONFERENCES 2011

Regional Energy Conferences are organized as a part of do GREEN campaign to insist on the importance of energy imperative and the enormous potential of innovation as a solution to tackle the energy crisis. The campaign is conducted by INNOVATORS AND INNOVATIONS, technical training division of CONNECTIONS EMBEDDED SOLUTIONS. do GREEN is a revolutionary campaign that leads the way to address the world’s energy and environmental challenges while spurring new technologies and the growth of entirely new industrial solutions. Various communities including authorities, professionals, engineers, students, common people etc are targeted through the campaign to motivate about benefits and necessity of green technologies. It mainly targets the engineering community who designs and sets the operational criterion for various products and systems.

Regional Energy Conferences mainly targets on academies and industries. It ensures a platform for interaction between the academies and industries. The platform will support collaborations and partnerships to support energy efficiency initiatives and education. Global warming, sustainability issues and energy crisis have revolutionized existing career domains and generated new career opportunities in design engineering especially in electronics, electrical and IT fields. Regional Energy Conferences are great opportunities to explore new technological developments and unleash the resulting new career domains. These conferences are organized at Kochi, Coimbatore, Bangalore, Hyderabad and New Delhi. A three days National Energy Conference is scheduled on January 2012. Innovators and Innovations is holding the National Low Power Design Contest to provide a forum for students to showcase "power-aware" designs and to highlight the innovations and design choices targeted at low power. The goal is to encourage and highlight design-oriented approaches to power reduction. Students of Electronics/Electrical/Instrumentation/Computer engineering related trades can attend the contest. Students of approved engineering colleges who are presently having their 6th semester classes going on can participate in this contest. The participants for the contest will be given free training in low power design technologies at our facilities. The development team can have up to 5 members. Registrations must be done at www.iandi.in/application.php with Programme

VIT University invites applications for the post of Junior Research Fellow under Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, Research Project entitled in the School of Bio Sciences and Technology.
 
Eligibility : BE/B.Tech, ME/M.Tech, M.Sc
Pay Scale: Rs.12,000/-
Job Location: Vellore

PROJECT TITLE : Development of sol gel based sensor for early detection of oral cancer. 

QUALIFICATION : B.Tech./M.Sc/M.Tech in Biomedical Engineering or Instrumentation Engineering .

FELLOWSHIP : Rs.12,000/- (consolidated) p.m. + HRA as per rules.
